Dark Water Baby

This afternoon I had barely ten minutes at the marsh before it started to rain. Yes rain. Yes, again. This rain is supposed to only last into the early evening and then pass by, which is a good thing since our plans for dinner tonight was steaks grilled outside.
Anyway on the way out I noticed this baby alligator. (we refer to any alligator under five feet as a 'baby')
He was just floating still with a small leaf tickling his nose. The little guy was likely depressed at the lack of sun for today and having to sit through more rain. Oh well, the forecast is back to beautiful sunny weather starting tomorrow and continuing on for the foreseeable future.
