~Another day at the Raptor Center~

I LOVE these birds..... I can't remember the stories of these two Horned Owls.  Maybe next week I can look it up and read about what brought them here. Today I spent 4 hours at Sardis. It wasn't as gruesome as last week but still not for those with weak stomachs. It's a lot of work but to be so close to these magnificent birds and to be a part of them healing makes it all worth it.
One bird that was so beautiful is the Peregrine Falcon. He probably will never be released because part of his foot was damaged and half of his beak is cracked. Apparently these injuries are to severe and he will live out his life at Sardis. 
 The extra is an Eagle that will soon be released.
