Winter Magic - The Brains...

Colin has an extraordinary capacity for wrangling. The Winter Magic Festival parade involves hundreds of people and he somehow manages to keep them all under control, with nothing more than a reflective jacket, a walkie talkie and a silly hat. (I had hoped he would wear his "chook-on-a-nest" hat - perhaps another time.)
Oh yes, and months of advance organisation...

I could rave on for pages about the number of things he manages to accomplish (all year round) with apparent ease - including eating and sleeping, apparently, but I can't think when he fits things like that in - and the nearest I've ever seen him to being cross was one occasion when he uttered a very mild "oh well, that's just silly". I guess it all comes down to being a good humoured kind of chap and a librarian.

I've always thought that librarians should rule the world...
