'Friends'

What a fantastic day we've had today.

Friends over for lunch that we haven't seen for way too long, Mun made a beautiful hearty winter ham and chickpea soup, our friends brought over a delicious salad. After chatting and eating for about 2 hours we decided to go for a walk. The sun was out, the kids were all getting along like old chums and we were all really enjoying our peaceful, relaxing day.

We walked down through the back paddock stopping to look at anything remotely interesting, huge mushrooms (or toadstools) and very small yellow ones too, down to our local playground.

Today had been one of the most enjoyable days I've had in a long time, thanks to great food & company, combined with kids that didn't require too much adult supervision.
