First Snowfall

The first snowfall on Mt. Washington (6,788 feet elevation).  Temperatures in the 20's and 80 mph winds.  Needless to say, we didn't go up to this cool spot.  There was sun and even at the base of the mountain temperatures remained cool (50's F) but a wonderful day of sightseeing in nature, laughs and good food.  Sunday morning Ann and Mike (extra photo) will continue on their New England adventure and we will return home.

Mike is a camera guru and I did get a few pointers from him.  He has been to many countries, the top of Mt Everest in a helicopter, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Singapore - all on photo taking trips, mostly with a National Geographic tour.

The other extra is a bit of the leaf peeping subject of the day.
