U is for Undulating

Today was supposed to be the big Penyfan walk, the horseshoe walk which takes in the three peaks of Penyfan, Cribyn and Corndu, but given the forecast on Friday we decided to cancel it. However, a last minute decision saw a quick blast up Penyfan this morning, well when I say quick it still took an hour and 25 minutes.

Some great views up the top; this shot sees Penyfan, the highest peak in South Wales at 838 metres, on the left and Cribyn next to it. The weather wasn't great but you could still see down to the Swansea and Neath valleys, across to Merthyr, Aberdare and Abergavenny.

Oh by the way the people walking towards me dressed in white, were some karate/judo club who were up there in their uniforms. Nutters! Lol!
