Bat Mitzvah

Today I had the opportunity of photographing my first bat mitzvah for the young lady pictured here with her mother. It was a lovely event for a delightful family and I'm so pleased to have been able to witness it.

There are so many observations I could share, but the day was long and the number of photos to go through is huge. So I'll simply say hurray for traditions that are deeply rooted and for families that lovingly usher their young ones into learned and caring adulthood :)
