The Salisbury

Flying visit to Manchester for another concert (I'm told I should say "show", but to me that refers to a musical in the West End or Broadway...) - "Against the Current" is the name of the band; like father, like daughter?!
Felt a bit 'overwhelmed' with the noise and hustle and bustle of the city, especially as I was with two naturally "full on" people who had plenty to drink. At least I avoided a police chase on the way home this week, though nearly threw my passenger out of the car at one point... (see previous sentence!).
At some point had a quiet minute and was looking at blip, and realised I was probably very close to two of my nieces / fellow blippers... Hadn't even thought about Ju being in Manchester now...
Had lovely Lebanese meal - thoroughly recommend it Ju - http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/food-drink-news/ - especially as there's no alcohol served, so if you are with "drinkers", it at least gives them a couple of hours to sober up a bit...!!
Ended up in 'The Salisbury', which was an interesting place... good real ale and single malts, which was a little frustrating as I was driving... and thrash metal pumping out of the speakers (continuing the "full on" theme...) [blip is outside]
