Whole day of playing cards

My husband likes to play cards and a few years ago we joined a great group of people who meet regularly and play a game called Kínaskák, which translates to "China Chess", but hasn't got anything to do with neither chess nor China...
We are 7 in the group now and this autumn it was our turn to host the National Championship of Kínaskák here in Akureyri, because our club won last year.  Over 40 people (all women, except my husband) spent the day playing, chatting, eating, drinking and having fun from 13:30 until midnight. The Storm/ Stormurinn from Fáskrúðsfjörður won the championship, both as a team and as an individual.
