'New Gear & Great Light'

We've finally taken the plunge and bought ourselves a full frame camera. From early experiments late this afternoon, I'm very excited about the prospects of what this baby will allow me to shoot. Headed out just after a thunderstorm this afternoon and the light was incredible late in the day.
This was taken just up the road from home at around 7pm tonight in Kangaroo Ground looking toward Redbox Vineyard & Winery.

More work up at the school today for the working bee, and the chicken coup is coming along brilliantly thanks to all of the hard working volunteers once again today.

Also took Dylan shopping this arvo as he is heading out to his first full week camp with school. He needed new runners, thongs and a pair of sunglasses. This will be the longest he's ever been away from both of us, but I'm sure he will be okay.

Looking forward to testing out this 6D and the new 70-200 F2.8 lens over the coming weeks.
