Eighteen?
Buying some phosphoric acid for the party tomorrow (the things you do for guests, still it might be useful for getting stains off the patio afterwards...) and I was puzzled by the offer.
Limit a Buy-one-get-one-free offer, that makes sense - but why limit the offer to eighteen bottles? Why not a round number like twenty, or ten, or a dozen, or a physical symmetry like sixteen, or a carry-able 16kg / two-bags number like eight.
About the only even number that doesn't make any sense is eighteen.

Met up with E later in Waitrose to finish off the party shopping; consider buying chips on the way home but it was chucking it down so we settled on cheese-on-toast.
Feeling we'd done enough preparation, and had had enough work trauma in E's case, we wound down with The Bourne Ultimatum. One of the things I like about the Bourne films is that the surveillance technology is entirely feasible (unlike the the ability to walk away from some of the crashes).
I also really like the way the ending echoes the beginning of the triolgy.
