Parasol

Spotted this enormous parasol mushroom (see extra photo) on the path from Humbleton on our very late morning dog walk; there was another close by. Looking towards the Kyloe Hills.

Later on in the day we re-visited two antique shops and, oh dear, came out with more than intended, but items that were on our long-term shopping list - two chairs, two garden troughs planters, two plates, waste-paper basket, a birthday card and, oh yes, a fishing rod... Note to self: must not step in to another antique shop for a couple of years at least!

Quick bite to eat and now off to tackle some work in the courtyard and one or two essential domestic jobs before relaxing this evening with a glass or two of red.
