Not so much a landing....

as a crash.

We drove around the moor for an hour and a half looking for the perfect launch site.

Controls tested, range checks done and me all ready for some stunning aerial shots.

The first launch was a minor disaster causing some damage to the nose wheel but this was disregarded (in hindsight a foolish mistake) and launch two went ahead.

She soared into the sky, she looped and then nose-dived straight into the moor.

Prop and nose cone broken, propshaft sheared and wings akimbo, sadly she is no more!

One thing less to bring home, a decent burial is the only answer.
