Happy birthday Mr Keys!

Would you believe he had just come from a day at work. But it is his birthday tomorrow and so Anna made her take on a chocolate orange cake and we heralded his arrival in the appropriate manner. Lovely to be able to celebrate with them as we missed the drinks and dinner last night. The kids joined us for singing and eating and spent the rest of the time doing who knows what in the den. We even managed to retire to comfy chairs for part of the rugby, thus demonstrating the wisdom of the upstairs den creation.

Before all this there was much domestic activity along the homework, laundry, dog walking, charity sorting lines. And some decent levels of J activity.

This felt so very close to a 'normal' Sunday.
