Dead Flowers
A day of going hither and tither.
After Janine and Michael came by for Arya and Michaela, June and I headed to the other side of Banff to visit Boyndie, where we were told there was a garden centre.
Well, there was and there wasn't.
It is more of a garden in the trees that one can go for walks in. There was some plants for sale, but very few and none of any interest to us.
It had a restaurant where the food was good, but the service slow and a bit mixed up, and some small rooms which doubled as shops selling various crafty things and kids toys etc. And the walls were covered in memorabilia of Banff Royal Air Force base during the 2nd world war.
Very odd.
We then returned in the direction we came from and headed to The happyPlant where we bought some plants and bulbs, then home via Tesco.Lidl and Asda in Fraserburgh.
Today's blip is a hosta plant with dying leaves.
The featured band today are Gully Foyle.
You probably won't have heard of them. They were a local band from the late 60's, early 70's.
But they did feature Jim Diamond within their ranks.
He, sadly passed away last week.
