Sunset over Bantry Bay
Two sunsets in a row! I'm sure there is a simple explanation for it, the sun was actually dark red but is white in the photo?! After a busy morning painting windows, I was tempted out by BAT who suggested a kayak around Garnish Island, in Glengarrif harbour, the sea was like glass, we saw a sea otter, numerous seals and sea birds, it's a divine spot where rugged mountain ridges become wooded on the lower slopes where they meet the sea, do peep at my extra photo. We explored Blue pool and a river leading into the forest, almost felt like the Amazon! Tea and a scone, in the bar of the Eccles Hotel seemed like a nice end to the day but then I caught this amazing sunset on the way home.
