Purple Aster

On Friday I posted a blip of the wild pink asters & I mentioned in the write up that as they get toward the end of their bloom time the petals start to curl up & that they reminded me of curliqued ribbon. Today I went back over & took some pictures of the blooms as they reached this stage--I just love the shapes, which aren't as apparent from a distance as they are up close!
On the sports front, our Green Bay Packers beat the Rams at Lambeau Field today so they remain undefeated @ 5 & 0!!  Unfortunately there were more injuries during the game, so I hope they're all minor ones & the injured players can be back quickly! A gorgeous day for the game with sunny skies & about 77 degrees!!
