The new bike

Not £2000 but £20, not carbon fibre but steel, not a flight of fantasy but an eBay purchase from a man in Kingswood!

It rides well, has two more gears than a fixie, comes complete with a dynamo, two mudguards, a chain guard and some brazed on pump clips! Plus reflectors....

Is this living the dream?

Anyway, we had a family trip to the Strawberry Line which is a railway line turned bike path in North Somerset. Lovely, big sky views and sunshine, a cup of tea at the fishing lake cafe and back home to bike washing and tinkering.

A busy week ahead. I need to postpone worrying about that for a few hours longer.
