Semper Fidelis

This is a US Marine from a nearby town who died in Iraq, in a war I and many Americans object to. I didn't know him -- in fact, I didn't even know his name until today -- but I've traversed this freeway overpass countless times, past this sad but colorful tribute. Today I stopped to learn a little about Lance Corporal Andrew Zabierek and to thank the many veterans who've served our country. (A special thank you to my cousin JG. I'm proud of you.)
