No longer edible!

Artichokes seem to grow well in our garden, but we aren't great fans of them and there is such a lot of faff to prepare them.  We had a few small ones to eat earlier in the season, but now we leave them to flower, and they are terrific.  The hover flies and carder bees seem to like them as much as we do, so everyone is happy!
