A fishy tail!

We walked to Maryport this morning along the Solway.

This art work is next to the Maritime Museum by the river Ellen.

Colin Telfer worked down the pit for 20 years in West Cumbria. After he was made redundant he started to make these amazing figures from iron ore dust and resin.

Tam and Jim are into their second, and final, week of the Coast to Coast walk. Tomorrow they are walking from Reeth to Richmond, and B&B ing for their 1st wedding anniversary! I'm sure they'll be having a decent meal to celebrate! The weather forecast is ' Warmer, drier and brighter'!
