Le Col de Beachy Head

As the weather was quite pleasant today, I thought I would tackle this testing (for me!), ascent. The plan was: I'd meet Gill at the top and we'd have a gentle stroll along the cliff tops, maybe a little snifter whilst sitting in the balmy autumn sunshine. Suffice to say, the weather took a turn for the worse and I had to head back into the teeth of a stiff, cold easterly wind. It was such a struggle that I thought I was going to bonk at one point!
