Tynemouth Rock...

...for MonoMonday: Rock.
This is where we always started our Sunday morning walk round the rocks when we were children - my cousin Sheila, Uncle Bill and me. Just to the right is the pier, and we headed off to the left ( north ) to see how far we could get - round King Edward's Bay, along the Longsands, and maybe even as far as Cullercoats. We had better balance then - and we didn't mind getting our feet wet in the rock pools! Happy days!
