The outdoor pool - in Argyll

Cathleen and I had lunch with  Iain and Marion Anderson at Portavadie Marina today and then we all were given a tour of the new spa which opened last month.

It is an astonishing facility with almost certainly the best view of any indoor swimming pool and gym  in Scotland as the extra photo today shows.

But the crowning glory is the outdoor heated infinity pool in my blip with two outdoor hot tubs beside it.   When we were there all were being well used with a little steam coming off the water as there was a chilly breeze despite the sunny weather. 

The view is  towards Tarbert across Loch Fyne with the little ferry making the journey in full sight of what is bound to become a real mecca for visitors  - and not just sailors.
