In the Dark

Taken on this afternoon's walk at the bottom of Beacon Hill on Charnwood Forest. A lot of fungi in the leaf litter, well camouflaged. 

It's been a day of dotting i's and crossing t's. No blip yesterday. It slipped my mind, and by the time I remembered, I felt too tired. Also a bit depressed.

I'd been to a seminar on how to judge photos in competition. Seems dichotomous to me. On the one hand, you have to encourage the author to continue with photography, on the other hand, most don't have a hope in hell of ever winning anything.
