Rock Ammonite
I have always had a love of geology and as a 1st year student at Uni was envious of the amazing fossils the lecturers had in their offices. I used to like collecting rocks so much I would come back from field trips with bags of them. I still have a sharp eye when I am out and about and found this small ammonite when on holiday in France. I spent many hours polishing it to reveal he internal structure now captured in rock. I love the way each chamber has a different texture including a section of crystal. It shows u quite well in mono. My extra is the original shot its very nice in real life too to bad for something 60 million years old ( despite what my kids might say that's the fossil not me :) )
