Tree

Today is a national holiday here in Brazil: day of our patroness Our Lady Aparecida. She is indeed a statue of the Virgin Mary that fishermen found in a river in 1743. After that they never had trouble catching a lot of fish. Today the statue is in a big basilica in the city of Aparecida, close to São Paulo. I went there with my mother in the 70's - all catholic guys here go there at least once in a lifetime.
Another very warm day in Brasília - we went for a bike ride and found new trees blossoming, like these. I am not sure which trees they are, probably Flamboyant
