Dunedin Botanic Gardens

A sunny breezy morning, good for drying clothes. The botanic gardens provided a great walk with plants, flowers, coffee (birds in an aviary) but the highlight was a sudden shower and a rush to the bandstand for shelter. As well as ourselves a group of young people ran ahead and immediately formed into a group, with one lad playing a guitar they started to sing, just like that. Honestly it was wonderful and emotional, just perfect and although it appeared to be impromptu we think they may be had to run from the rain in an outdoor practice. The university is nearby, perhaps they are students? I was torn about blipping the group, eventually deciding to include in mini format. John had his iPhone and video'd the singing, we can look back to these wonderful few minutes in our dotage, or when we arrive home.
