Clarity

All summer when tourists throng to the islands there is so much haze it is not possible to see what is in the distance. But in Winter (or Autumn or Spring) we get rare days of extraordinary clarity. This is Mount Athos behind and a flying insect in front. It is probably the closest I will ever get to Mount Athos having been assigned the wrong gender to visit.
