Midsummer? Who'd believe it?

Spent this morning at the Midsummer 6 off-road race in Wolverhampton.

I'm sure when the weather's good it's a really nice course, unfortunately with all the rain we've had over the last few days/weeks it was a little on the muddy side...as you can tell. It goes down a disused railway and then along the canal for a short stretch, before finishing back at Aldersley leisure centre.
This is me at the end of the 10Km race, complete with souvenir mud, 22nd in 45:51, and I didn't even slip over. Just nearly slipped a few times. But hey it was actually quite fun.
