"You're So Vane..." or "Heyri Canary"

Today is Hangeul Day - another "Red Day" in our calendars and the last of these public holidays until Christmas...

Making the most of the beautiful weather, I took a day trip on a "red bus" to Heyri Art Village. When you look at Heyri from the map, isn't all that far away from the border with the north - caught a distant sneaky peak from the bus on the way there.  


This colourful weather vane sits on top of one of the many modern concrete & glass blocks that make up most of this village of artistic and cultural expression - though given its proximity to the main commercial area on the site, the further away you are from the Heyri Canary the more interesting and authentic the place seems to be. I'm basing this mainly on getting pancakes & wine for lunch, eating alfresco in October, in a sleek Scandinavian looking café. Entirely scientific.
