St Piran
Our last day in Cornwall - en route to see a friend in East Devon and meet Grace in Exeter - we stopped off to look around the gardens at Lanhydrock House.
A much brighter morning but the wind has returned which is how I managed to capture
the flag of St Piran flying above the house.
I know very little about this saint but his flag represents Cornwall and can bee seen all over the county.
After a coffee we were on our way, but it was nice to be here as it was the place we joined the national Trust 15 years ago on our last holiday in Cornwall!
We also remembered we had been in Cornwall the same week 30 years ago when our son was 10 months old. I remembered as it was the week Prince William was born.
The weather was lousy then!!
