Morning rain

A brief but intense morning shower in the 'wood between the worlds'. Good to see all 3 moorhen chicks are still around, though one is looking decidedly smaller than the others. Surprising weather this afternoon, have been able to spend most of it outside in the garden, reading in the sunshine. A welcome respite from the struggles ahead this week.
