Sunshine on Kirkaldy

Running on the beach this morning the sky looked clear and sunny over Fife.

Another busy day of work - punctuated by a lunchtime swim - and a relaxing evening in front of 70's TV!

This week and next Edinburgh schools are on  half term holidays. The roads are very quiet. The rush hour seems almost a non event.  We did begin to wonder where all the children have gone. There was something of  a Pied Piper feel to Porty today as the pool, playground and prom all seemed to be void of holidaying families. Are they all watching screens or have they all flown away to have some late summer sunshine somewhere at the end of the Jet2 airways network?
