I am really feeling out of sorts today.  I am having a screening procedure tomorrow which requires the diet the day before to be clear liquids only.  It also means that the next 12 hours before the procedure will be quite unpleasant….Any of you who are over 50 should know what I am talking about.  Let me just say, I am justifiably hungry and cranky.  

Thankfully this handsome cardinal posed for me on the Japanese lantern and I can call it a day.
