Hibernation imminent

The air has turned cold and crisp and it feels wintery all of a sudden. Wore my wool coat and scarf to work today and drank hot cups of tea in true British style as I churned out emails and made calls.

Time to start wearing the beanie hat (pictured) and woolly socks to bed as the temperature has dropped. You see when living in a cottage built in the 1700s with wobbly beams and holes in the wall precautions are required to keep the chill away!

Spent most of the evening on the phone catching up with firstly my lovely mum and then a couple of friends hearing about recent holidays and talking about our joint missions to get on EBay, make a few pennies and sell some clutter!

Looking forward to a few days off next week for an autumn sort out!
