Chinese opera face painting

Bangkok Chinatown is currently  celebrating the Vegetarian Festival. In one area, they set up the stage for a Chinese Opera on the bank of the Chao Phraya River.
As visitors were welcomed to go backstage, I attended the preparation before the show. Each actor was busy with his/her own make-up.
