Esme the Explorer!

A chilly 4 deg start to the day but by mid morning it was lovely and warm and sunny -  perfect weather for doing more cutting back and tidying up in the garden.  I got a lot cleared and the hens came and helped too!  Ollie was beside himself, trying to keep his eye on the three of them in the undergrowth!   

At this time of the year there isn't really anything in the garden that the hens can damage and they love rootling about, looking for worms and bugs.  They found a bare patch where the cauliflowers used to be and the three of them settled themselves there for a good dust bath!
