The Avenue in the Arboretum

Today I was out and about quite early as it was the day of my thyroid check blood test. A different nurse did it today and she was so good - I barely felt it!

I walked through the park afterwards and took a few shots even though I was hoping to take shots of the Lancaster later on when it flew over the Bomber Command Memorial Centre. I thought this was at 2PM. Turned out it was at 11AM, and I missed it! Good job I did take some photos earlier then.

Also today I have made a baked egg custard - just the custard, no pastry! My kitchen has a lovely vanilla and nutmeg scent now!
