Solace Day 13: Ready

A wet start to the day, but not unexpected.

By the afternoon theweather was much better and I was out again doing my job of getting the next lock filled and the gate open ready for NB Solace to be driven into it. 

You can see the boat in the distance, and The Man under the bridge coming towards Meaford House lock, having closed the gates on Meaford Road Lock.

Travelled on until after 5pm to find a nice mooring place we had used previiously.
