Isn't this smashing? It's a ...  dunno what to call it really - there's prollies a proper architectural term... cornerstone? Except it's at the base of a fence denoting the house number of a very short row of houses once occupied by coastguards and their families on the sea front here in Seaham.
There are only four and this is the least weathered. Love the anchor.
