After the Event

The flame has been and gone, everyone is heading home; how are we different, how will 'legacy' impinge on our lives, especially the kids? I was mostly aware of a massive corporate marketing machine against which the message of the flame was nearly extinguished. Maybe I need to take more anti-cynicism tablets..... or do I?
