I take it all back

Apparently my above and beyond moment yesterday was recognised.

Have never received flowers from a parent of a student before. It was quite humbling to know without question that I am doing something right.

Am currently trying to ensure that I have a hangover for my brain scan tomorrow.
(Not really - I am 'drinking in moderation')
