Butterfly lily

I was snapping a photo of a cloudless sulphur on a canna lily when a second and then a third landed on it!  Also this shot and this one.

I put the cloth and pumpkin out on the cats' porch this morning and then sat in a chair to watch what would happen.  Spirit took one look and gave it all a very wide berth.  Princess gave it a quick check out.  Neenah never even gave it a look.  Peace was the only one interested in the pumpkin.

The woodpecker was back at the feeder today.

It's been a warm sunny day today.  I actually got too hot sitting outside and it's mid-October.
