The Road and the Miles to Dundee...

I'm so late in posting this it's almost a backblip!

David worked from home this morning then this afternoon we took Alan to  Dundee to meet with the Gastro nurse to discuss the gastrostomy he will hopefully have soon.

The nurse was really lovely and we had a great discussion  She will talk to the Consultant tomorrow about Alan and all being well the procedure will be done before Christmas.   The situation is complicated as Alan will need a general anaesthetic (it's normally done under light sedation) so will probably mean two nights in hospital - the night before and the night of the procedure.  A bit of a logistical nightmare but worth it in the end.

Home to make soup for my friend Alison who's coming for lunch tomorrow then a visit from a window blind rep to measure up 5 windows for new blinds.  

Off to bed now to see if I can beat my six minutes to get to sleep record  :-))
