Rose

Most of the day was spent preparing for the AGM at work. The day started out miserable but the weather perked up as the day passed, and by the time I got home from work, skies were blue so I pottered about the garden with the SLR.

I took this shot as an angle to create a contrast between the rose stem and the boarding on the fence. I'm quite pleased with it...sometimes it's like that, isn't it? I had taken quite a few shots of the GoatsBeard which was partly in sun, part shade, but this just appeals. Maybe it 's the sideways way I look at life generally.
