The Eagle Has Landed

This, and the extra photos, is my "Eagle Dancer"....finished and shipped, at last. He's an example of a pre-contact Ponco Indian of the Colorado - Oklahoma area during the sacred Eagle Dance. He becomes trance-like as his spirit animal lifts him to another plane during the dance....feathers flying as he circles.
The modern Eagle Dancers have very elaborate costumes. I like the simplicity of the ancient ones. I hope you like it, too. :-)
