Dawyck Botanic Garden

The rain was so strong we had the window wipers on full... We were on the way for a nice long walk in the countryside.

Dawyck Botanic Garden - a beautiful, massive grounds set in the hills of the Scottish Borders.

We walked, we ran, we jumped, we played in the river, we got wet, we got hot, we took pictures, we collected pine cones, we punched trees (the funny red american ones that are bouncy to touch!) and we had a picnic in the car...

The heavens opene on our way home again.
