Musings of a Mortal

A view of the Lady's Tower

We all headed over to the kingdom of fife today and then along the coast to a fab wee village called Elie. Situated on the East Neuk of Fife it is a wonderful place (especially in the summer) with Blue Flag beaches, great water sports venue and wonderful views.

Today was one of our "Outdoor Church" - A walk up Ben A'an a concept that myself and Clare decided to do with our kids a couple of years back - Basically instead of going to a church service, we all head outdoors and experience God in the midst of his creation and look at a truth that has been recorded in the bible and try and convey that with what we see around us.

Today was all about "Living Water". In the rock pools we found life in abundance and every high tide those pools were refreshed with new sea water - providing life to the living things that are there - A reminder to us that our "Living Water comes from Jesus alone.

We can fill our lives up with many things but do they really satisfy us or are we then looking to the next thing "That will make us happy"... But as we keep our eyes fixed on Christ then He alone can refresh us with water that will never dry up - "Living Water"

The view that I have recorded today is looking towards an old "Changing Room" that a Lady used to use before she went for a dip in the sea and for more info check the link.....Info on Elie

Anyhow I hope you all had a fab weekend if the weather was anything like what we had today you enjoyed all 4 seasons in about 4 hours...mind you I'm just glad we never headed down the coast to North Berwick judging by that rain cloud in the top right of the picture...........

Cheers
