Don't tell..

I was meant to have a sleep at about 2 o'clock, but my wholly irresponsible grandparents decided to ignore the explicit instructions from my mother.

It was raining, then it was sunny and warm, we went to the beach walked for miles and "plogged" in the sea, we saw doggies and horses, we collected shells and grass, we went to the Alnmouth Arts festival, then to Amble and watched the boats whilst protecting our fish and chips from the seagulls, on the way home we stopped for ice cream and saw the baby cows and heard the "lions" roaring in the cow shed.

We got home way after 2 o'clock so missed my sleep, I'll be awake in the middle of the night and a bit grumpy tomorrow, but those irresponsible grandparents won't care.
